Education-at-Work Scholarship Applications due April 30

KYAE will award one scholarship per region. As of today, not all regions are represented.

The 2007 Education at Work Scholarship applications are due soon -- postmarked April 30. Please remind your customers/clients that time is running out and to submit their applications ASAP. Attached are the guidelines and application (185K PDF). They can also be accessed from the Education Cabinet’s Web site at www.educationcabinet.ky.gov .

Thirty-six scholarships will be awarded at $1,000 each (OFB 4; OCTE 6; KYAE 6; OVR 10; and OET 10). Listed below are the numbers of applications we have received as of today. As you can see, the numbers are low. Based on the past years, we expect to see a dramatic increase closer to the deadline. With your support, I’m sure this will be the case for this year too.
