KAACE launches postcard campaign

Providers: 

KAACE needs your help!  As you know, adult education is faced with a $3 million statewide funding cut, which threatens a reduction in services.  It is imperative that our elected officials hear the voice of those adults who will be directly impacted.    Thus, we are kicking off a student postcard campaign to contact legislators.  Attached you will find a sample lesson plan to help students put together a personal message for the campaign and a template for printing postcards on card stock.  

As a reminder, postcards should be mailed (using your own stamps) no later than Tuesday, February 19.  As always, thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
