National Leadership Excellence Academy Application

KYAE has been accepted into the National Leadership Excellence Academy, which will provide enriching program leadership professional development to as many as 40 local program directors in Kentucky.  KYAE is seeking applications from program directors interested in developing and improving their leadership skills.  Click here to download an application.

 

The Academy, a joint initiative of the National Adult Education Professional Development Consortium (NAEPDC) and ProLiteracy America, is a two-year professional development opportunity that will allow program directors to explore, adapt and apply leadership concepts and skills specific to their adult education program. Participants can earn the nationally recognized certification as a Certified Manager in Program Improvement (CMPI) as well as nine hours of graduate credit in educational administration.

 

The completed application must be returned to Sandra Kestner at Sandra.Kestner@ky.gov by June 16, 2008. The Leadership Excellence Academy Commitment Contract Agreement and Supervisor Endorsement must be signed and mailed hard copy to Sandra Kestner and postmarked on or before June 16, 2008.
