Provider input requested for policy revisions
Kentucky Adult Education has drafted potential policy revisions that would take effect July 1, 2006, and seeks comment from the adult education provider network.
Posted below are summaries of the revisions and links to current policy and draft language. At the top of each draft policy revision is an e-mail link for use in providing comments. Submit all comments for KYAE’s consideration by April 17, 2006.

Performance and Accountability Policy |

Revision summary:
• Eliminates the requirement of progress reports from counties in Pre-probation or Probation tiers.
• Alters the second criterion defining Pre-probation.

Assessment Policy |

Revision summary:
• Adds new policy language regarding reasonable accommodations for assessment. The Office of Vocational and Adult Education, U.S. Department of Education, mandated the addition of an accommodations policy.
