Kentucky Adult Education recently held Learning for Life Awards Dinners as part of Regional Conferences to honor outstanding businesses, organizations, adult educators and students.
The Learning for Life Champion Award recognizes a business or organization that has made significant contributions to raising the educational level of Kentucky adults.
The Learning for Life Student of the Year Award is presented to a student who has overcome significant obstacles or is making great progress in achieving his or her educational goals or who has been a role model for his or her children and/or other adult education students.
The Learning for Life GED Achievement Award is presented to a Kentuckian who earned a GED prior to 1997 and, as a result, has made significant contributions to the community, economy or workforce.
The Learning for Life 110% Award is the highest honor presented by KYAE for meritorious service or achievement, the 110% Award recognizes individuals who have served their communities, students and adult education programs in an outstanding manner.
